About Me

I am a yoga teacher, private yoga specialist, and personal trainer who has a passion for helping people get to know how their bodies move most effectively, whether through traditional yoga or a variety of yoga fusion practices focused on specific goals. 

I completed my 200 hour teacher training in Rishikesh, India, and have additional certifications in trauma-informed yoga, one-one-one assisted stretching and active muscle release technique, core strength vinyasa yoga, and natural holistic remedies.  I have also studied chronic pain management and mobility recovery.  My specialties include rehabilitative yoga and yoga-fit fusion classes. Over the years, I have studied with Western anatomy and kinesiology experts, pioneers in new movement techniques, and breathwork and meditation teachers throughout Asia.  I am currently completing my degree in Kinesiology, after which I will pursue my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, and love reading the latest research on physiology (yes, I'm a bit of a nerd!).  My past clients include those looking to recover strength and mobility after injuries or surgeries, athletes hoping to improve flexibility and range of motion, and those battling chronic pain, both physical and mental.
